There will be a FEMA Registration Site that will be located at the northwest corner of the Sapulpa High School campus parking lot, 3 N. Mission Street. This site will be open Wednesday thru Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
After you get thru the process of registering with FEMA, a representative should be visiting you at your property within a couple of days. If this person does not have the proper I.D./Credentials, do not let this person into your house.
If you have anyone that is representing FEMA without proper ID badges that specifically identify themselves as a FEMA Representative, immediately contact the Sapulpa Police Department.
If you are approached by someone representing FEMA, and they ask for cash to help process any info, then that person is not a FEMA Representative. Immediately contact the Sapulpa Police.
After the resident registers with the FEMA, via the Registration Site, with FEMA personnel that are doing house to house assessment’s, or via the website, which is available thru the City of Sapulpa web-page and the City of Sapulpa Facebook page, they will be given a 9-digit ID Code that is to be used for FEMA purposes in processing any damage claims related to your property.
After receiving this 9-digit ID code, never give it out to anyone, except to FEMA Personnel.
There are individuals that could be out there trying to take advantage of citizens in the community that have been affected by disasters, so stay vigilant and aware. The 9-digit ID Code FEMA gave you could be used to give an individual access to personal information that has been submitted to obtain this ID.
